Enameling Made Easy: Torch Firing Workshop for Beginners and Beyond
NEW! 4 DAY ENAMELING WORKSHOP
Join us: Saturday/Sunday, Sept 15/16, and 22/23, for (4) fun enameling workshops. Materials will be provided and students will leave with finished ready-to-wear pieces of enameled jewelry.
This class introduces techniques for torch and kiln firing colorful glass enamel onto metal to craft one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. Featuring easy-to-understand steps, tutorials, and real hands-on practice for students to create beautiful enamel jewelry in the studio as well as provide knowledge on how set up for enameling in the home. Learn basic enameling techniques such as torch firing, sifting stenciling, sgrafitto, cloisonné, and adorn with raw materials like silver foil.
All tools and supplies provided.
​No experience necessary. This class is also suitable for advanced students. Space is limited.

This class is taught by enamel expert Allen Green. Allen has studied advanced enameling at the (Thompson Enamel) Carpenter Art Enamel Foundation. He is also a fused glass artist and has taught at Triton College.
